About the Authors

Nir Kossovsky

Dr. Nir Kossovsky is the CEO of Steel City Re, a firm specializing in corporate reputation protection, and is executive secretary of the Intangible Asset Finance Society. He has spent the past 30 years increasing, protecting, and restoring intangible asset value.

Prior to entering the world of finance, Dr. Kossovsky was a tenured faculty member at the UCLA School of Medicine. He became one of the world’s leading authorities on biomaterials and polymers, published more than 150 articles and two books, and was quoted extensively in the general media. Dr. Kossovsky earned an MBA from the University of Southern California, an MD from the University of Chicago and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a graduate of the Naval War College.

Todd Miller

Todd Miller is principal of Todd Miller & Associates, a Pittsburgh marketing and public relations consulting firm that helps manufacturers, business and professional services firms, healthcare organizations, non-profit organizations and government agencies develop and implement marketing communications campaigns to generate acceptance of their products, services or ideas. Todd’s work has been recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators, and by the Public Relations Society of America.

Throughout his career, Todd has placed and ghost-written for clients more than 100 articles that have been published in trade and general business magazines, and newspapers worldwide. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Todd did public affairs and lobbying work for the Chemical Manufacturers Association (Washington, DC), was a staff writer and researcher for John McLaughlin of The McLaughlin Group television program and worked for the Member of Congress from the district in Michigan where he was born and raised.

Todd holds a B.A. in history from the University of Michigan.
